The UNMC Office of Global Engagement will hold its second International Photo Contest from March 7-28.
"The OGE is very excited to launch our second annual international photo contest. We received many wonderful submissions last year," said Jane Meza, PhD, associate vice chancellor for global engagement.
Participants are invited to submit up to three of their favorite travel photos for the contest. The online submission process will be through the Office of Global Engagement website, where participants can find the official contest rules.
This year, the submissions will be grouped into four categories: Cityscapes/architecture, landscapes/nature, people and animals.
Photos will be judged based on originality and creativity, photographic quality and communication of culture and place/theme. All judging will be done anonymously. A grand prize will be awarded, as well as a winning photo from each category in both the student/resident and faculty/staff divisions. Please do not submit previously entered photos from last year’s competition.
Participants can contact Danielle Thies with questions.
