Under the Microscope: Exciting news on uBEATS

Following a gift from a generous donor, Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, has news to announce about the program.

UNMC developed its uBEATS program to meet the increasing demand for health science education in high school and middle school. UNMC’s uBEATS (UNMC Building Excellence in Academics Through STEM) offers an online health science curriculum for students in grades 6 through 12. It introduces health sciences through interactive elearning modules.

In this edition of Under the Microscope, Dr. Gold discusses the program with Dele Davis, MD, senior vice chancellor for academic affairs, and Peggy Moore, director of e-learning.
