The UNMC Ice Rink will be hold its sixth annual Holiday Skate Day for UNMC students and employees today from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Ice skaters can do a few laps around the rink to the tune of holiday classics and enjoy hot chocolate.
The first 100 people in attendance will receive a pair of UNMC winter gloves. Ice rink admission is free for all UNMC and Nebraska Medicine employees and students.
The UNMC Ice Rink, which is open to the public, will remain open through Jan. 30.
Normal hours of operation are:
- Monday through Thursday: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
