- A record of providing direct and indirect support for UNMC research projects, such as acting as a funding partner on match grants or providing resources for investigator research.
- Collaboration with UNMC investigators on research-based solutions to population health problems.
The guidelines for nomination are:
- Nominees cannot be employed by UNMC or the University of Nebraska.
- The nominator must be a UNMC faculty member.
- Letters of support can come from UNMC faculty, alumni or students.
The award will be presented at the annual distinguished scientist award ceremony.
Please submit nominations for consideration on or before Dec. 6 by completing the official nomination form. Nominations and questions should be emailed to James Geiger in the vice chancellor for research office.
