Dr. Bennett honored by Nebraska Pharmacists Association
Shelby Bennett, PharmD, clinical assistant professor, UNMC Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science and Office of Experiential Programs, was honored with the Pharmacists Mutual Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award at the recent annual meeting of the Nebraska Pharmacists Association. The award recognizes individual excellence and outstanding contribution to pharmacy associations and communities.
Food trucks on campus next week; new options on west side of campus
Next week, the medical center community again will be able to grab lunch from a food truck on campus.
A different food truck will be on campus each day from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. north of the UNMC Ice Rink. The schedule for the week of Nov. 1 is as follows:
- Monday, Nov. 1 – Taste of New Orleans
- Tuesday, Nov. 2 – Burning Bridges (burgers, sandwiches, chicken)
- Wednesday, Nov. 3 – La Casa
- Thursday, Nov. 4 – ZEMOGS (Mexican food)
- Friday, Nov. 5 – Street Eats (burgers, wraps and salads)
Also beginning next week, UNMC is expanding food truck service on the west side of campus. Food trucks will begin parking in front of the Durham Research Towers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The confirmed schedule for the week of Nov. 1 is:
- Monday, Nov. 1 – Game Time Eats (philly sandwiches, homemade bread)
- Thursday, Nov. 4 – Burning Bridges
- Friday, Nov. 5 – ZEMOGS
