A new site has launched to make it simpler to reset your network password. If you forget or lose your password, this site will allow you to reset your it on your own instead of calling the IT Help Desk.
To use this function, you must be enrolled in Duo Multifactor Authentication. More information on how to enroll in Duo can be found here.
The password reset links are available on the Nebraska Medicine “For Employees Only” Internet webpage, UNMC Faculty and Staff webpage, UNMC Student webpage, and are accessible both on and off work locations.

You can also click Forgot My Password at the sign-in page of the App Store (https://appstore.nebraskamed.com or http://appstore.unmc.edu) to reach the Password Reset page.
You will be asked to choose whether you forgot a UNMC password or Nebraska Medicine account.
Then you’ll be asked to verify your legal first name, last name, UNMC or Nebraska Medicine username, and date of birth.
After entering this information correctly, you’ll be asked to verify your identity with a Duo notification. Once verified, you’ll be able to enter a new password.
Please note this tool is not available for UNMC guest accounts (Library, Canvas Guest, etc.).
