Nebraska Medicine CEO James Linder, MD, and UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, plan to host a family forum on Wednesday, Sept. 1 from 7 to 8 p.m. on Zoom. They’ll be joined by Mark Rupp, MD, medical director of infectious disease, and Kari Simonsen, MD, chair of the UNMC Department of Pediatrics.

You can join the forum here on Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m.

The evening forum is an opportunity for colleagues of Nebraska Medicine and UNMC to invite their families to hear directly from our experts on the delta variant, how it’s impacting our community and our families, hospital capacity and the potential timeline of a third vaccination dose. Attendees also will be able to ask questions via Zoom.

This is wonderful! It would be great if it was recorded so that we could share with family who could really benefit from hearing true medical facts (who might not be able to make the live zoom).
