How I fell in love with radiology: I first fell in love with radiology during my third year of medical school after I began looking at the imaging exams of patients I was helping care for. I love the problem solving and knowledge of anatomy, pathology and physiology required for this specialty. Medical imaging is an integral part of patient care involving nearly every specialty and I see it as a privilege to be able to help.

Education:

  • BS, Biology, Creighton University
  • MD, University of Nebraska Medical Center
  • Transitional year, Resurrection Medical Center, Chicago
  • Residency, radiology, UNMC
  • Fellowship, musculoskeletal and body imaging, UNMC

Memberships:

  • American Roentgen Ray Society
  • Radiologic Society of North America

Three things people may not know about me:

  • My father-in-law delivered me.
  • I high jumped 6’10" in high school.
  • I have the rarest combination of hair and eye color that humans can have (red and blue, respectively).
