UNMC medical students Taylor Kratochvil of Omaha, and Hannah Tandon of Los Angeles, California, will serve as UNMC Student Senate president and vice president, respectively, for the current 2021-22 school year. Both Kratochvil and Tandon are fourth-year medical students in the UNMC College of Medicine.
Kratochvil also will represent UNMC as a non-voting member of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents.
Other Student Senate officers for 2021-22 and their hometowns are:
- Estefania Lanza Rodriguez of San Juan, Puerto Rico, a UNMC College of Public Health master's degree student serving as treasurer; and
- Katie Schultis of Diller, Nebraska, a second-year medical student in the UNMC College of Medicine serving as chief of staff.
