Since the very beginning of this pandemic, we have emphasized all of the steps that we are taking are to support the health, safety and well-being of the entire family of faculty, students and staff at UNO and UNMC and the many communities that we serve. We will continue to do so because nothing is more important to us.
I fully understand that recent national events may have members of our university community — particularly those individuals of color — concerned about their own health, safety, and well-being. Please know that we recognize the deep pain and loss associated with these tragic events and stand together as we support each other through these difficult times.
