Effective Saturday, March 28, all colleagues who work in inpatient units, clinics, and procedural areas are expected to wear a procedural/surgical face mask at all times, while working in their clinical care settings.
The exception to this would include times when a health care professional is wearing an N95 respirator to provide care for a COVID-19 rule out or COVID-19 positive patient.
A procedural face mask will be issued at the start of each shift and will be used throughout the shift. Please read this policy which includes instructions for extended use, pictures and FAQs.
