A new UNMC tour video is available for help in recruiting while prospective students, faculty and staff are not able to visit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A team in the UNMC Department of Public Relations worked to create the video in two weeks in anticipation of limited access to campus.
The five-minute video provides an overview of UNMC colleges and institutes, as well as key facts. An update is planned at least by fall. PR also is available to work with individual units to customize the video for targeted recruiting in shorter, social media-friendly versions for a low cost.
“The video is the result of excellent and very fast work by videographers Joy Madie Beattie and Rich Watson,” said Stacie Hamel, senior associate director for web and interactive media. “Despite increased demands for their work due to press conferences and national media interviews on campus, Joy and Rich made the tour a priority in order to help fill this urgent need.”
Beattie edited and created motion graphics for the video, while Watson shot the majority of footage. Still photos by Kent Sievers also were incorporated.
