The UNMC Department of Human Resources is teaming with TIAA to host a webinar on retirement strategy in the face of market volatility, to be held from 1-2 p.m. March 25.
The webinar, titled “Global Lookout: When is it safe to come out?” will feature Brian Nick, chief investment strategist for Nuveen, a global investment management company.
“In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is having a major impact on the stock market, our UNMC community may be looking for financial advice about their retirement planning,” said Jayme Nekuda, associate director of human resources. “We believe this seminar will give them important information that they need.”
Nick has more than 15 years of experience in analyzing market and economic data and developing investment strategies. His presentation will cover the factors driving the current market volatility and offer strategies to deal with current market swings.
