MMI Department of Physical Therapy attends the Nebraska Robotics Expo

Members of the MMI Department of Physical Therapy attended the Nebraska Robotics Expo, an annual event for K-12 student to participate in robotics competitions, leading to early exposure to STEM education.

“We participated with the intent of spreading awareness about our GoBabyGo! Nebraska! chapter and demonstrating how the students participating in the competition can utilize the skills that they used during their competition in a physical therapy setting,” said Jamie Gehringer, Ph.D.

The expo was held on Feb. 22 at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland.
