How I fell in love with dentistry: I always enjoyed building and working with my hands. While in high school, I spent my summer breaks doing small construction projects. One of them was building a porch for my dentist, who shared the same passion for fine details and encouraged me to pursue a career in dentistry.

Three things people may not know about me:

  • I learned how to play the piano on my own when I was 10.
  • I have been marking the calendar for the past three decades with the opening dates for pheasant and turkey season.
  • I have been wearing my lucky Cornhusker shirt for every game day in South Florida for the last 25 years.
