Three things you may not know about me:

  • I am a true cowboy and spend every chance I can on a cutting horse and have won belt buckles. Back in California, I routinely helped a friend drive more than 300 head of cattle into the Lassen National Forest on a three-day drive in the spring and back down in the fall. Every April, I am also the rodeo doc for the Red Bluff Round-up Rodeo for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). . . YEHAW!
  • I originally planned on an art degree in college but changed to biology. Now my two lovely daughters are the artists, with one in California and another in Florida. I also have a 33-year-old son who is a genius with multiple mathematics and economics degrees and a lawyer as well.
  • I was a swimmer in high school and I was the Metro champ my senior year in the 100-yard breaststroke.
