This award is presented to a resident who best promoted the UNMC Internal Medicine Program.
 
Resident Educator Award – Chief selected Smitha Sagaram, MD
This award is presented to a resident in recognition of time dedicated to the education of other house officers and students.
 
Outpatient Care Award – Chief selected Lauren Shoemaker, MD
This award is presented to a senior resident in recognition of excellence in outpatient care at UNMC

This award is presented to a house officer who is the best team player
 
Residents’ Fellow of the Year Award – Nominations to R Council, then resident selected  Faizen Syed, MBBS (Neph)
This award is presented by the residents to the fellow that embodies an ideal consultant and has contributed the most to resident education.
