June 29 – Memorial service for Virginia Grissom, 2 p.m., Dundee Presbyterian Church, 5312 Underwood Ave. A Girl Scout Color Guard will be at the service in recognition of Virginia’s longtime support of the Girl Scouts. Grissom died Feb. 26 at the age of 99. She was the wife of Robert Grissom, M.D., the first full-time chair of the UNMC Department of Internal Medicine.
