What do you like the most about your training program:
Our program provides an excellent mix of academic and community practice and exposes us to multiple options for life as an OB/GYN after residency. My incredible co-residents are an added benefit and have made Omaha and UNMC feel like a home away from home.
What challenges do you foresee in graduate medical education in the future:
Continuing to focus on resident education and robust exposure, particularly in surgical specialties, while still abiding by the ACGME duty hour restrictions.
List some accomplishments that you are proud of:
Being nominated for and receiving the Resident Teamwork Award from my co-residents for the past three years.
Tell us three things about you that others may not know:
- I have been skydiving twice in my life.
- I play the cello.
- I can read Hebrew.
