Upcoming Faculty Development Collaborations

Drs. Shannon Boerner, (GIM) Kelly Cawcutt (ID) & Jasmine Marcelin (ID) submitted abstracts to the upcoming AAMC Group on Faculty Affairs and Group on Women and Medicine in Science, in collaboration with colleagues across campus. Several were accepted, as below:
 

  •  Leveraging Social Media: Using a #visualabstract to Disseminate Research – Accepted for roundtable discussion (Drs. Cawcutt, Marcelin, Abbey Fingeret and Jessica Maxwell) 
     
  • Aiming for Promotion – Helping Women Hit the Target – Accepted for roundtable discussion, to be presented by by Dr. Kari Simonsen. Submitted by Drs. Boerner, Cawcutt, Sheila Ellis (Anesthesia), Lisa Schlitzkus (Surgery), Ali Cushman-Vokoun (Pathology), Sheritta Strong (Psychiatry), Sharon Hammer (Psychiatry), Kari Simonsen (Pediatrics), Linda Love (Faculty Development), and Pam Carmines (Cellular & Integrative Physiology)
     
  •  Pick Up the Pace: Professional Advancement Through Personal Branding – Accepted for podium presentation, to be presented by Dr. Cawcutt (abstract by Drs. Cawcutt & Boerner
     
  • Shattering the Glass: Using Social Media to Accelerate Women’s Professional Success – Accepted for workshop presentation by Drs. Cawcutt, Marcelin, Fingeret and Maxwell
