The UNMC Student Senate and the UNMC/Nebraska Medicine Emerging Professionals Program are hosting a volunteer day on Saturday, April 13.
There are several sites to choose from, including:
- American Cancer Society;
- City Sprouts;
- Keep Omaha Beautiful;
- Habitat for Humanity;
- Ronald McDonald House; and
- Siena Francis House.
Each site has a limited number of volunteer slots, so it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will have the option to rank their top three choices at registration.
Registration is required and will close on Tuesday, April 9. Register here.
All volunteers will receive a T-shirt at check-in on campus between 8-8:30 a.m. A light breakfast will be provided prior to departing for the volunteer sites. Each group will spend three hours at their site (9 a.m.-noon) before heading back to campus for a group lunch in the Sorrell Center (provided by the Student Senate and EPP).
For more information, please contact the EPP community engagement co-chairs Laura Vinson or Carolyn Faylor.
