A new food concept is moving into Nebraska Cafe at University Tower, replacing Brioche Doree’. It’s called “Hand Crafted” and will offer a variety of premade specialty sandwiches. Guests will also be able to order a customized sandwich.
“Many of our guests have told us they miss the previous sandwich station where they could make their own choices,” said Tom Hoffman, director, food and nutrition, for Sodexo.
In addition, Hand Crafted will feature an ice cream sandwich concept that will showcase homemade waffle cones. A smoothie bowl concept called “Swirl” will be offered as well at a later date.
Brioche Doree’ will close Thursday, March 28, to train staff on the new offerings. Hand Crafted will open on Monday, April 1.

Will there be any options for providing breakfast rolls, muffins, etc? Brioche was so convenient to pick up these items for morning meetings.
