April 23 is Administrative Professionals Day.
To mark the day, the UNMC Department of Human Resources will offer administrative professionals the opportunity to attend a celebration event at the Truhlsen Events Center on the first floor of the Sorrell Center. The event will consist of morning and afternoon sessions. Participants are invited to attend ONE of the sessions.
Both sessions will feature presentations on:
- Self-Care: Burnout and Other Issues that Impact Administrative Professionals
- Step into your Strengths
- People Are Everything.
Administrative professionals are asked to RSVP by April 1 through UNMC Sync to either the morning session from 8:30-11 a.m. or the afternoon session from noon-2:30 p.m.
Based on responses from last year’s survey, a committee was formed to oversee the event. Members are Gwen Porter, Tina Johnson Randle, Julie Mack, Catherine Hughes, and Deanna Hansen. If anyone would like to join the 2020 committee, contact Giovanni Jones.
