Talk about your job and what you like best about it:
I have worked for UNMC for 10 years now and have had many different positions. I started out in billing and have helped out at the clinic front desk, worked with medical students and now I am working as an office assistant in our administrative psychiatry department. I really like the people with whom I work. I am always learning something new, and we are always have something exciting going on in psychiatry.

List three things people may not know about you:

  • I own a Harley Davidson motorcycle that I really enjoy riding. I know a group of other women riders and we like to get together as much as we can and go out riding.
  • I help out and have fostered bulldogs for S.N.A.F.U. (Short Noses And Friends United) rescue. They specialize in Bulldogs, Boston Terriers and anything with a short, smushy face. They rescue dogs from all over, and the organization has grown so much since I started. It is so rewarding and we really enjoy it.
  • I also enjoy camping with my husband, our dogs (Willie, a French bulldog, and Torq an Olde English Bulldogge), soon to be new son and friends. We have a camper that we like to take around to different campgrounds around the area.
