Memorial service for Jessica Nielsen set for March 18

Jessica Nielsen, D.N.P.

The College of Nursing will hold a memorial service on March 18 in honor of Jessica Nielsen, D.N.P., a nursing faculty member who died unexpectedly in January. The service will be held at 4 p.m. on the Omaha campus in the Center for Nursing Science, Room 3030.

Dr. Nielsen also was a UNMC alumna, earning her MSN in 2006 and her DNP in 2015 from the College of Nursing.

The college invites anyone interested in sharing their memories to send a few sentences or a short paragraph by March 4 to omahacomments@unmc.edu, for inclusion in a memory book for the family.
