The UNMC Ice Rink will be open for holiday hours from today through Jan. 6.
Holiday hours are:
- Sunday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Friday andSaturday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
The rink will be open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Students, faculty and staff at UNMC/Nebraska Medicine, as well as family members, can skate for free. In addition, the same offer applies to all other University of Nebraska campuses, including the University of Nebraska at Omaha, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. All university employees will have to show their employee IDs to skate for free.
The rink is located just east of 42nd Street, midway between Emile Street and Dewey Avenue on the north side of the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education.
