Newly elected State Sen. Mike Moser toured UNMC recently.
Moser, who will represent Nebraska District 22, which includes Columbus, visited the campus in October.
He met with university leaders and toured the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and the iEXCEL Visualization Hub.
Moser said he was impressed by the warm and comfortable atmosphere on campus, and added that the technology showcased in the Visualization Hub — including the iWall and the HoloLens — was very impressive.
Moser, a former mayor of Columbus, will take his seat in the state legislature in the next session after his election victory on Nov. 6.
