The Healing Arts Program is presenting a free reading/performance of Shakespearean sonnets by actor Jack Zerbe at noon Thursday, Sept. 27.
Zerbe is the UNO School of the Arts director and professor of theater and international studies. He has worked as an actor, doing primarily Shakespeare, for 14 seasons, playing more than 20 different roles, including his favorite, Caliban in “The Tempest.”
He continues to feed his love of Shakespeare by teaching “Acting Shakespeare” at UNO and serving on the board of the Nebraska Shakespeare Festival.
The performance, sponsored by the Healing Arts Program and the UNO College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media, will take place in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center lobby.
