How I fell in love with family medicine:
I chose family medicine as a specialty so that I can care for adults and children throughout their lives. I love the opportunity to see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. I really enjoy the broad scope of practice and getting the opportunity to manage medical conditions that affect every system in the body. Most of all, I really enjoy being given the opportunity to be the primary caregiver and leader of the medical team for my patient.
