- B-cell malignancies such as chronic lymphocytic leukemia and Richter’s transformation;
- Understanding chronic lymphocytic leukemia disease biology (malignant transformation and tumor microenvironment interactions); and
- Evaluating novel targeted anti-cancer therapies.
How I became interested or fell in love with research:
My continued fascination with biological processes and specifically how the cancer cell hijacks normal cells to promote tumor growth.
