Canvas webinar training between June 27-July 27

Beginning on June 27 and running through July 27, anyone with a unmc.edu email address can sign up for Canvas webinar training.

In the past, Canvas Webinar Training at UNMC has been offered in different locations across campus. After working with Instructure, the new trainings are available from any location — Omaha, Scottsbluff, Lincoln, Norfolk, Kearney or somewhere else.

How do I sign up for a webinar training session?

  • Navigate to https://www.cysalesteam.com/instructure/
  • Click the “Click here to create an account” button. IMPORTANT: sign up using your institutional email (@unmc.edu) address or we won’t recognize you as authorized user!

  • Once you have created an account, be sure to sign in.
  • Click “Calendar” or “Browse by Category” to find events and sign up.

How long will my account stay active?

  • Your account will be active June 27-July 27, 2018. You will still be able to log into the portal after the expiration date; however, no trainings will populate.

How many webinars can I take?

  • Unlimited during the specified time frame.

Do I have more options for training?

  • Yes. If you or your department/staff would like a specialized training session or just a basic Canvas overview, please email canvas@unmc.edu.
  • If you need help converting your course from Blackboard or are just not sure how to get started, please email canvas@unmc.edu.
