Clinical Learning Environment survey participation requested

The Clinical Learning Environment (CLE) is the space in which health professionals interact to provide care for patients including the learning and development of skills critical to patient care outcomes. As such, CLE affects all professions and levels of learners.

To better understand the CLE, the Office of Health Professions Education (OHPE) requests Nebraska Medicine and UNMC faculty, staff and students, who directly care for patients in the inpatient or ambulatory setting, complete a five- to 10-minute survey.

The survey is anonymous and basic demographic data (e.g., job role, gender) will only be collected for analysis purposes. Responses will be stored in a secured database on the UNMC servers with access only available to study personnel.

To access the survey, please use a web browser other than Internet Explorer, such as Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari, and copy and paste the following web address: https://unmcredcap.unmc.edu/redcap/surveys/index.php?s=R89KHYH787. The survey will close Tuesday, April 10.

Survey responses will target efforts to positively affect the learning environment for all students, residents, faculty and staff.

Please contact Kelly Caverzagie, M.D., associate dean for educational strategy at UNMC, and vice president for education at Nebraska Medicine, at kelly.caverzagie@unmc.edu, if you have any questions.
