The search tool available on unmc.edu has been upgraded. The tool delivers search results from content within unmc.edu.
Users should notice better search results, with colleges, departments and units displaying high in the results when an organizational name is searched. The internal search tool is used only for searching content within unmc.edu. It is different from using an external search engine, such as Google or Yahoo.
Eric Lasher, an ITS systems administrator, worked on the project to make the UNMC search tool more useful and accurate.
“The search tool has been updated to include faster, more relevant search results from over 15,000 indexed web pages and files,” he said.
