The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center is complete and all streets, sidewalks, parking and access points are now open for use including the skywalk to the Durham Research Center and the sidewalk between the cancer center and Lot 2 (green patient parking) that runs east/west. The helipad will be operational later this month.
Dewey Avenue and 45th Street open
Beginning today, Dewey Avenue, 45th Street (also known as Durham Research Plaza) and the connecting roundabout are now open.
Patients are encouraged to use valet parking at the front entrance off 45th Street. Lot 2/green visitor parking also is available for self-parking.
