UNMC was chosen, through a competitive application process, to participate in the Millennium Conference 2017 – "From Student to Doctor: Aligning UME and GME Teaching to Ensure Success." To address the pressing issues in GME, the focus of the Millennium Conference 2017 will be to discuss strategies to incorporate novel pedagogical approaches into GME. The conference also seeks to provide GME educators with strategies to cultivate lifelong learning.
The conference was May 3-5 in Wellesley, Massachusetts and was hosted by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School and the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC).
