David Dzewaltowski, Ph.D., was welcomed as the inaugural recipient of the Community Chair in Activity, Nutrition, and Obesity Prevention at UNMC and the Buffett Institute at a May 3 reception held at UNMC. UNMC and UNO Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., Samuel Meisels, Ed.D., founding executive director of the Buffett Institute, Ali S. Khan, M.D., M.P.H., dean of the UNMC College of Public Health and others were on hand to welcome Dr. Dzewaltowski.
