All the tickets have been claimed as of 8:45 a.m.

UNMC’s community partner, the Omaha Community Playhouse, has a very limited number of preview night tickets to its preview showing of production of “Rock of Ages” on Thursday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m.

UNMC employees and students may reserve up to four general admission tickets per person. To make your reservation, please email Kacie Baum with your name, department and number of tickets needed. Once confirmed, tickets must be picked up in person in the public relations offices on the third floor of the 4230 Building. Tickets will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis while the supply lasts.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Set in L.A.’s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, “Rock of Ages” tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love.

Nominated for five Tony Awards, this hit musical comedy is an arena-rock-n-roll love story told through the hits of the 1980s such as “Sister Christian,” “We’re Not Gonna Take It,” “Dead or Alive,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Here I Go Again,” “Don’t Stop Believing” and many more. “Rock of Ages” takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair!
