Research Interest:
To understand the basic cellular and molecular mechanisms behind alcohol-induced organ dysfunction and loss of homeostasis, and the significance of autophagy in the pathophysiology of liver diseases.
How I fell in love with cell biology:
I developed an interest in cell biology during my undergraduate studies when I enjoyed observing details of the cells under the microscope. My passion grew as I learned more about the fundamental nature of cellular functions, inspiring me to study the mechanisms governing cellular signaling under physiological and pathological states of cells.
