Dr. Bounds to speak at UNMC Monday

An open forum for faculty, students and staff, featuring University of Nebraska President Hank Bounds, Ph.D., speaking on the budgetary challenges facing the state and the University of Nebraska, will be held at UNMC on Monday, Jan. 30.

The event will begin at 8 a.m. in the Durham Research Center Auditorium.

In a letter to the entire university system on Jan. 12, Dr. Bounds said that the state’s fiscal uncertainties would impact the university to some degree.

Dr. Bounds will be joined at the forum by UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D.

The event will be available via video conference. Locations include:

  • College of Nursing Lincoln Division — Room 305
  • CON Kearney Division — Room 100
  • CON West Nebraska Division — Harms Center, Room B132
  • CON Northern Division — Room 156
  • College of Dentistry — Room 1221
  • COD Gering — Room A

Attendees at these locations can ask questions during the forum by email. The email will be monitored and questions relayed to Drs. Bounds and Gold.
