UNMC solicits comments for upcoming reaccreditation

The University of Nebraska Medical Center seeks public comment about the university as it prepares for evaluation by an accrediting body.

The Higher Learning Commission will visit the UNMC campus on Nov. 28 and 29 and review its ability to meet the commission’s accreditation criteria, which may be viewed at www.unmc.edu/aboutus/accreditation/index.html.

UNMC last underwent a comprehensive self-study and site visit during the 2006-07 academic year. UNMC has been accredited continually since 1913.

Observations should address substantive matters related to the quality of the university. Comments must be received by Oct. 28.
