A group of UNMC students and administrators are in China this week participating in the International Student Research Forum hosted by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.

The ISRF, which is in its 11th year, brings together top doctorate students from different countries and universities and typically rotates between four countries. The founding universities include UNMC, Griffith University, Australia, Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Tokyo, and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The Nebraska students, who presented at the ISRF, pictured above, are Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. students. All are from UNMC except Jenny Kent, who is a student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The students also will present at Xi’an Jiaotong University and at Shanghai No. 10 People’s Hospital, which is affiliated with Tongji University.
