Research/Professional Interests:
Early childhood development and intervention, childhood obesity, health disparities, and integrated behavioral health care.
How I fell in love with child psychology:
I took a psychology class in high school, and I was immediately hooked. In my early years of college, I participated in several service-learning experiences working with young children with developmental and social-behavioral needs. It was then that I learned the important benefits of early education and intervention and from that time forward, I focused my clinical and research efforts in the field of early childhood.
