I am currently involved with research projects in the areas of interventional oncology, education and quality.
How I fell in love with radiology:
I was fortunate to shadow my hometown radiologist (yes, there was only one) while I was in high school. His excitement for radiology was contagious. While in medical school, I discovered I liked the procedural side of medicine, as well. Interventional radiology is the perfect combination, with image-guided minimally invasive procedures.
