May 2 – Gold Humanism Honor Society induction, 10 a.m., Omaha Press Club, 1620 Dodge St.

May 7 – Rep. Brad Ashford tours Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center construction site.

May 9 – UNMC commencement in Omaha.

June 23 – Employee Service Award dinner.

July 1 – School of Allied Health Professions becomes the College of Allied Health Professions.

August 20 – Grand opening ceremony for the Health Science Education Complex on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus.
