UNMC events set for Public Health Week

“Healthiest Nation 2030″ is this year’s theme for National Public Health Week, held today through Friday.

For the fifth year, the College of Public Health Student Association will coordinate campus and community events in an effort to raise awareness about the critical role public health and prevention play in keeping communities healthy.

” ‘Healthiest Nation 2030’ is all about rallying around a goal of making the U.S. the healthiest nation in one generation by 2030,” said Ketki Patel, M.D., a Ph.D. candidate in epidemiology and president of the COPH Student Association.
