April 22 – Mark Vonnegut, M.D., a Quincy, Mass., pediatrician and author of two popular nonfiction books (“East of Eden” and “Just Like Someone Without Mental Illness Only More So”), will deliver the Charles S. and Linda W. Wilson Lecture in Medical Humanities, noon, Paustian Amphitheater, Sorrell Center. His book on mental illness has been a favorite with medical students.

April 23 — 7TH Annual Richard B. Davis, M.D., Ph.D. History of Medicine Lecture, noon (box lunch available at 11:30), Eppley Science Hall Auditorium. Judith Leavitt, Ph.D., department of medical history, University of Wisconsin, Madison, will discuss medical and social issues in American childbirth history.

April 24 – Anatomical donor memorial service, 6 p.m., Truhlsen Events Center.
