The Meyer Foundation for Disabilities, in conjunction with Film Streams, will present a screening of “Becoming Bulletproof” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Film Streams theater at 1340 Mike Fahey St.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director Michael Barnett and Ila Halby, a co-founder of the program featured in the documentary.
“Becoming Bulletproof” follows a group of adults with disabilities from across America who take part in an ambitious indie film production. “Bulletproof,” the film within the film, is a Western. It’s the fruit of ideals that two brothers and their wives put into action through an inclusive film project they run in Hollywood every year.
Tickets for this free screening are limited to two per person and can be reserved here or through the Film Streams Box Office, in person or at 402-933-0259, ext.15.
