On March 5, several UNMC employees will present at this year’s Greater Omaha Young Professionals Summit at the CenturyLink Center Omaha.
The conference brings together diverse young professionals, change makers, business and community leaders to engage with one another and invest in themselves and our community. Many of this year’s presentations revolve around the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math).
Kathleen Brandert and Brandon Grimm, both of the College of Public Health – Office of Public Health Practice, will present “The Art and Necessity of Peer Coaching.” Kacie Baum of the UNMC Public Relations department will discuss UNMC’s Science Cafes and other science outreach activities.
