NUFlex re-enrollment runs from Nov. 17 to Dec. 5

NUFlex re-enrollment will begin Nov. 17 at 8 a.m. and continue through 5 p.m. on Dec. 5.

Employees should log on to Firefly using their ID and password to review and/or make changes to their insured benefits. If you do not remember your user name and/or password, please contact the Firefly support desk at 402-559-BUZZ (2899).

Below is a list of items that need to be completed each year during open enrollment:

  • Electing your contribution for the flexible spending accounts (health care and/or dependent care) for the 2015 plan year. Flexible spending account participation does not automatically roll over from year to year — you are required to sign up each year. Note: The health care FSA amount has increased for 2015. Employees are now able to elect $2,550 for 2015 calendar year expenses.
  • Completing the Health Risk Assessment. By completing the survey, your wellness benefits will increase from $250 to $300 on anyone covered under your insurance that is age 2 and older. It will increase the wellness benefit from $500 to $600 for anyone covered under your insurance under age 2. You will also be able to obtain generic drugs through the CVS Caremark mail in program at no charge.
  • Designating your tobacco/nicotine usage. Each year this is reset to the default indicating “yes” for tobacco/nicotine product use for compliance with the university’s life insurance plan’s requirements. Failure to designate your tobacco/nicotine usage will result in higher premiums for voluntary life insurance.
