The Transportation & Parking Committee is holding the first of a series of hour-long transportation and parking forums at 10 a.m. today in the Truhlsen Events Center in the Sorrell Center.
The committee has reviewed a transportation and parking survey that was completed anonymously by UNMC/clinical enterprise faculty, staff and students and will be discussing possible parking enhancements and travel options that will satisfy the needs of patients, staff, students and visitors while reducing the overall demand for parking on campus.
In addition to today’s forum, the committee will hold other forum events:
- Thursday, Oct. 9: Noon, Lower Storz Pavilion.
- Thursday, Oct. 9: 3 p.m., Durham Research Center Auditorium.
- Thursday, Oct. 9: 11 p.m., Private Dining Rooms.
The Oct. 9 noon forum will be live-streamed here.
